Clik here to view.Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special – JB Gill form JLS won this year’s Strictly Christmas Special together with his professional dance partner Ola Jordan.

The singer and the lovely Ola were the first pairing on the floor for the festive special and they certainly impressed the judges with their jive to “Rockin’ Robin.’

Bruno said of their jive: ’Oh yes you set it all off with a real cracker of a Jive. The talent and energy of a young buck. Excellent.’

Head judge Len Goodman was equally impressed saying: ‘JB… I tell you that stands for Jive Bunny. You were bopping. It was full on. For one week’s training, that was fantastic.’

No doubt the rest of the celebrities appearing on the dance show would have hoped for a less high-scoring start to the show as JB and Ola scored a total of 39 points from the judging panel with only the hard to please Craig not scoring a maximum.

Other pairings on the show included comedian Bobby Ball who was dancing an American Smooth to the very festive White Christmas with his partner Katya Virshilas.

One competitor who scored much higher than was expected was 79-year old actress Sheila Hancock who danced a lovely Foxtrot to Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas with her professional partner Ian Waite. The judges were all impressed with her performance with Bruno saying that she proved that age was just a number. The pair scored a total of 36 points from the judges even getting a couple of maximums from Len and Bruno.

One much-anticipated performance came from the Blue Peter presenter and daredevil explorer Helen Skelton. Apart from her reputation for adventuring Helen was also in this year’s FHM 100 Sexiest Women In The World list. She had said before the show was aired that she was worried that the outfit they wanted her to wear was not sufficient to contain her ample breasts as she performed a cartwheel during the routine. 29-year old Helen complained that they wanted to send her out in just a bra and this was not enough to contain her DD’s so eventually got a bit more support to help her stay safe during her cartwheel.

Helen was paired with ladies favourite pro-dancer Artem Chigvintsev and they danced an energetic jive to All I Want For Christmas. The outfit proved substantial enough to keep Helen’s assets in place but their performance was not enough to triumph on the might although there must now be many viewers hoping that the Blue Peter presenter signs up for the next full series of the show.

One competitor on the Strictly Christmas Special who got a very warm welcome was ex-professional footballer Fabrice Muamba whose heart stopped for 78 minutes during an FA Cup match when he suffered a heart attack earlier in the year. He got a great reception from the audience and some good comments from the judges but his Salsa with partner Aliona Vilani did not prove to be enough to wrestle the title away from JB.

The programme also included a special routine featuring a number of previous Strictly competitors including Rachel Stevens, Kelly Brook, Tom Chambers, Chelsee Healey and the winner of the first ever series of Strictly, Natasha Kaplinski.

Clik here to view.Strictly’s Flavia Cacace Gets Engaged – it has been a really good few weeks for Strictly professional dancer Flavia Cacace, not only has she lifted the show’s glitterball trophy for the first time she has now got engaged to her boyfriend movie actor Jimi Mistry.

33-year old Flavia has known actor Jimi Mistry for 2 years since they first met when they were partnered during  the show in 2010.

Flavia announced the good news on Twitter saying: ‘Sorry I have been a bit quiet, wanted to wish  you all a very happy new year.’

‘I’ve had a wonderful time and  have some amazing news .  .  . All I need to say is @JimiMistry has made me the happiest girl in the world. Xxxx #engaged.’

Flavia is known for her super slim figure and rock hard abs which are regularly showed off in her dance routines on the BBC show. She has said in earlier interviews that she does no special exercises to get her amazing abs but it is just the amount of dace training that keeps her in such great shape.

Clik here to view.Both of Flavia’s previous two boyfriends have been seen on Strictly as she was originally romantically linked with her professional dance partner Vincent Simone who she dumped after getting involved with Eastender’s actor Matt Di Angelo her celebrity partner in the 2007 series of Strictly. Matt and Flavia finished as runners-up in the 2007 series which was her highest finish until she lifted the title this year with Olympic gymnast Louis Smith.

Flavia has talked before about how her relationship with 39-year old Mistry has made her happier than she has ever been before. She has said that he is a very kind caring person but it is his great sense of humour that is most important to her. Although Flavia said that they had talked about children in a general way they were not planning anything.

She is sure to want to make the most of this high spot in her career as not only is she now the reigning Strictly professional dancer she is also, with Vincent Simone, part of one of the biggest live dance shows with their hugely successful Midnight Tango tour.

Clik here to view.Celebrity Version Of Great British Bake Off – the main series of Great British Bake Off was probably one of the most surprising tv successes of last year here in the UK.

The main series is presented by Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc and also features professional baker Paul Hollywood and the well-known cookery writer Mary Berry who both judge and comment on the competitor’s dishes. Both Mary and Paul have proved very popular with the public with Paul winning many female fans with his mean and moody approach and his silver fox good looks whilst Mary has surprised viewers with her fashionable choices of outfit. In fact a £30 floral bomber jacket that 77-year old Mary wore early on in the latest series proved to be such a hit that Zara sold out in hours and copies of the jacket were soon selling on eBay for up to £200.

In the new Celebrity Great British Bake Off, which is to be called the Great Comic Relief Bake Off, all the action will take place over just 4 programmes starting this Monday (21 January). Each programme will feature 4 different celebrities who will each have to produce a signature bake, a technical bake and a showstopper bake. The winner of each show will then be given the title of Comic Relief Star Baker.

I often cover the kitchen in flour and I have three whisks. I have only ever made two things – a Victoria sponge and chocolate cookies.

“It turns out the Bake Off is about other things too. I had the most brilliant time and have baked more since taking part. But I refuse to try pastry, I can’t even discuss it.”

Amongst the other celebrities taking part in the show are comics Jo Brand, Bob Mortimer, Ed Byrne and Stephen K Amos, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, Olympian Helen Glover, diminutive actor Warwick Davis as well as presenters Julia Bradbury, Martha Kearney and Kirsty Wark.

We can look forward to seeing the celebrities cooking up their own versions of chocolate cake, shortbread, Bakewell tart, scones and lemon meringue pie.

As the series is linked in with fundraising for the Comic Relief charity there is also an accompanying Great Comic Relief Bake Off book which can be purchased from Sainsburys and an Emma Bridgewater designed kitchen apron that will be available from TK Maxx and Homesense stores.

Clik here to view.National Television Awards – at last night’s NTA’s Strictly Come Dancing finally triumphed over X Factor after 5 straight years of losing out in the Best Talent Show category.

Following on from their comprehensive ratings victory over the last series Strictly finally took the title much to the delight of presenter Tess Daly, judge Darcey Bussell and series runner-up Kimberley Walsh. The trio posed for plenty of photos with their award after not only beating X Factor but also triumphing over The Voice, Dancing On Ice and Britain’s Got Talent.

The award was all the sweeter as the win was a rare BBC success on the night as ITV dominated most of the other categories. The most surprising win of the night and the one that sparked the most raised eyebrows was the win for Paul O’Grady’s show For The Love Of Dogs beat the popular Great British Bake Off to take the Best Factual Television Show Award. Amongst many comments heard after the award was that a number of people had not even heard of the show until it was announced as the winner.

The least surprising victory on the night was Ant and Dec’s 12th consecutive win in the Best Entertainment Presenter category. The duo were seen receiving their award from Simon Cowell live on stage from the Britain’s Got Talents auditions.

Clik here to view.As well as her disappointment at the X Factor not winning out in its category Nicole Scherzinger also has to deal with her black dress going totally see-through under the cameras flashlights and clearly showing her nipples to one and all.

She clearly thought that the vintage Ossie Clark number was likely to show a little flesh as she was wearing nipple covers but even these seemed to fail to do their job on the night. The singer looked to be very happy in front of the cameras but maybe lost her smile a little later when she saw how transparent her outfit looked under the lights.

Amongst other winners on the night was Coronation Street which once again picked up the Best Serial Drama award and Downton Abbey which won the Best Drama award.

Another popular win on the night was Miranda Hart’s victory in the  Best Female Drama award for her role as Chummy Browne in BBC’s Call The Midwife.

Kimberley Walsh Flashes Boobs and Knickers At GAY – the Girls Aloud, solo singer and former Strictly Come Dancing finalist seems to have really come out of her shell in the last few weeks if her performance at top London club GAY is anything to go by.

Kimberley was at the club to promote her new solo album Centre Stage which is released tomorrow (04 February).

The 31-year old sang 5 songs from the album which all went down well but it was her very daring outfit that everyone was talking about afterwards. Kimberley wore a slash-fronted red dress with no bra and a slit that went so far up the front that it stopped just short of her belly button, giving everyone a good look at her black knickers.

She is obviously feeling extremely confident about her body at the moment as the dress was not forgiving in any way shape or form and it was clear to all at the club that Kimberley is in incredible shape.

There to support her friend and bandmate was Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts who tweeted afterwards ’My amazing friend blew G.A.Y away @KimberleyJWalsh !!!!’

Clik here to view.Flavia Cacace Launches Touch Rugby Campaign In Little White Mini-Dress – the victorious professional from the last series of Strictly Come Dancing was involved in a very different sort of exercise yesterday as she helped launch the new O2 Touch Rugby Campaign.

It looked like she hadn’t read the memo properly however as she took to the field wearing a little white mini-dress, fishnets and a pair of heels.

Flavia clearly isn’t used to working out in the UK winter weather as you can see from the photo here she looked shocked by how cold it was yesterday.

The 33-year old Strictly star was joined by England rugby players Brad Barritt, Mike Brown and Alex Goode to help launch Touch Rugby to the nation.

Clik here to view.Touch Rugby is a much simpler stripped down version of the normal game and doesn’t have the scrums, lineouts, rucks or mauls you find in the full version of the game. The idea is that it is less threatening to new or returning players and nobody need be worried about suffering a heavy tackle from a charging 18-stone man as the tackle has been replaced in touch rugby by a simple touch.

The campaign is aiming to get many people into the new form of the game and they hope to establish 75 new O2 Touch Centres by the summer with a further 100 following by the winter. The RFU is hoping to not just generate interest in rugby but also improve the health of the nation in the process.

Flavia showed she is made of tough stuff as she was picked up and thrown around by the rugby stars as they showed her the rudiments of the new game.

She said: ‘There are so many skills you can pick up and hone by playing O2 Touch and this is why I wanted to be involved – deftness, quick feet, speed, agility, great hands, strength.

‘But more than that, it’s a really fun way to keep fit – anyone can do it and have a go. Touch Rugby is now part of my training regime.’

Dancing With The Stars Cast Revealed – the cast for the next series of Dancing With The Stars was announced this morning live on US breakfast show Good Morning America.

The celebrity cast for the new series includes 4 sports stars, a tv reality star, 2 comedians, 2 singers and a Disney tv star.

One celebrity that received quite a lot of attention today when the cast was announced is Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump. Lisa has been more than a little mysterious about her age but the accepted figure for the former Baywatch babe is generally thought to be 52-years old.

Before she found fame and a not inconsiderable fortune in the US Lisa lived in the UK (she was born in London) and she can be seen making an appearance in the 1982 video for ABC’s single Poison Arrow.

The other new Dancing With The Stars competitor to get plenty of attention is 26-year old singer and former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler. Kellie is best categorised as a country singer and although she has gone on to sell plenty of albums and singles since her 2006 break on American Idol she is no doubt hoping that  a good run on the dance show will increase her public profile. Kellie is a former Miss America contestant and her most famous comment on American Idol came when she said that she thought Europe was a country. Thankfully for Kellie Dancing With The Stars doesn’t have a general knowledge round!

Other contestants on the new series include country music star Wynonna Judd, comedian Andy Dick, welterweight boxer and politician Victor Ortiz, soap star Ingo Rademacher from tv’s General Hospital, figure skating legend Dorothy Hamill and Zendaya Coleman from the Disney Channel’s Shale It Up.

The new series will be hosted again by Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet and begins on 18 March on ABC. As always the judging panel will include our own Strictly Come Dancing judges, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman as well as US judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

Girls Aloud – the beginning

Girls Aloud Split After Over A Decade Together – the girls last night announced that their Liverpool concert was their last together as a group.

The concert at Liverpool’s Echo Arena marked the final night of their Ten – The Hits Tour 2013 and fans were not told before the concert that it would be the girls final time on stage together as Girls Aloud. Cheryl Cole had sparked some concern over the group’s future with her Tweet earlier on in the day saying: ”To the people that haven’t been able to make it, for what ever reason, we feel your support regardless and have done for 10 yrs..”

Shortly after the girls all left the stage at the Echo Arena last night a tweet was sent from their official band account saying:

‘Dear Alouders, we just want to say from the bottom of our hearts Thank you!! This tour has been an amazing experience and the perfect chance to say thank you for being on this journey with us through a decade.

‘It has far exceeded any of our dreams and we hope we are forever your inspiration and reminder that dreams really do glitter!! Your love and support will stay with us forever but we have now come to the end of our incredible time together. Love you lots.’

Just in case you wondered how the girls managed to cheat their way round the 140 character Twitter limit they used an app called TwitLonger to post their message to fans.

Girls Aloud – the end

The last decade has seen a massive rise in all of the girls fortunes since they first got together in November 2002 on music reality show Pop Stars: The Rivals. At that time it was probably Nadine Coyle who was expected to make the biggest impact on the music scene as she had the strongest voice of all the girls in the group. As we know however things turned out quite differently with Cheryl Cole and, in recent months, Kimberley Walsh both making the biggest impact on not just the music scene but media in general.

For much of the last few years Cheryl Cole has assumed a sort of “people’s princess” role in the UK public’s minds and much of the country has gone through relationship woes, the highs and the lows of her UK and US talent show judging experiences and many other events she lived out in the full gaze of the public and media. Of late though it has been Kimberley Walsh who has taken more of a high-profile media role with her fantastic run in Strictly Come Dancing last year and her emergence following this as a sex symbol with her toned body and great abs.

As a group Girls Aloud have enjoyed considerable chart success with 22 consecutive top 11 UK singles and 4 Number One singles and total single sales of 4.3 million. In the process they became the UK’s biggest selling girl group of the century.

You can see from the photos here that the girls have all come a very long way since 2002, not least in their grasp of fashion. Here’s wishing them all the best in whatever they all decide to do next.

Clik here to view.Nicki Minaj Shows Lots Of Cleavage On American Idol – the singer turned reality show judge was the talk of Twitter last night as she took to the American Idol stage in a pretty racy dress.

Minaj wore a tight-fitting red dress for last night’s American Idol that had a huge section cut out of the front that basically presented her breasts and cleavage almost on a plate for the American viewing public.

The choice of outfit caused something of a storm as many people slammed the singer for wearing what was seen as an inappropriate outfit for a family entertainment show.

Minaj is not exactly known for choosing family friendly outfits so we are sure that the American Idol management must have known what to expect when they signed her up as one of the judging panel. You can see from some of her earlier choices of outfit that last night’s sexy cleavage baring number was not really a one-off for her.

As well as upsetting some of the American Idol viewers with her choice of outfit Minaj also has a go at fellow judge Mariah Carey. The pair disagreed over contestant Kree Harrison’s performance of She Talks To Angels and after the heat got turned up between them MInaj said to Carey, in a poor English accent, “Simmer down, sir.”

Ratings for the current series of American Idol have been down compared to previous series of the show and the talk is that it is mostly down to the lack of chemistry between the judges. In fact the show’s executive producer Nigel Lythgoe (originally known in the UK as a dancer with 60′s dance group Young Generation) even said to a website recently that he thinks that the feud between the two hasn’t helped matters.

The premiere of the current American Idol series (series 12) pulled in less than 18m viewers whereas the premiere of series 6 got over 37m viewers. All of this must be something of a worry to those trying to sell primetime advertising slots on the channel.

Clik here to view.It was originally thought by some commentators that the feud between Minaj and Carey might have been manufactured to help increase ratings and win back viewers but it seems that exactly the opposite has happened. In fact this is very much like the situation in the UK when the family friendly Strictly Come Dancing regularly beat the more aggressively judged X factor in their last side by side series.

The only surviving American Idol judge is now Randy Jackson who is joined by country singer and husband of Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban as well as Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. Might the show be another reality series that would benefit from the return of former judge Simon Cowell who was on the judging panel in series 1-9?

The final of American Idol Series 12 will be shown on tv on 16 May.

Clik here to view.Dancer Oksana Dmytrenko Shows Off Amazing Stomach – the Dancing With The Stars professional has been showing what great shape she is in as she was spotted at pre-filming rehearsals.

The 24-year old dancer originally comes from Ukraine although it is easy to see why she has been a popular import to the American DWTS team of professional dancers.

The 5ft 2in dancer was seen showing off some of the most impressive abs we have seen on a dancer and bear in mind that we have got Flavia Cacace here in our Strictly Come Dancing series.

She was spotted hanging out in LA with fellow professional Glab Savchencko,a man noted for being in pretty good shape himself. The two are believed to be working on a new routine for the upcoming Latin week on DWTS. Oksana is known for her great Latin dancing and is a former winner of the Rising Star championship in International Latin.

The latest edition of DWTS is sure to be a little emotional after it was announced that Adrianne Haslet-Davis, the 32-year old dancer who lost part of her left leg in the recent Boston Marathon bombings, would be featured on the show.

The current favourite to win this series of DWTS is 16-year old Zendaya Coleman, who has impressed both the viewers and the judges with her dancing skills. Judge Bruno Tonioli said of the actress and singer that she was “the best we’ve ever had.”

Clik here to view.2013 BATFA Winners And Red Carpet Fashions – tonight saw the annual BAFTA Television Awards transmitted from the Royal Festival Hall in London.

The evening’s most successful, and possibly most surprised, winner was actress Olivia Coleman who not only took home the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Accused but also won Best Female in a Comedy Programme for Twenty Twelbe. Olivia produced one of the best lines of the night when she apologised to her fellow female comedy award nominees when she said “I’m not even the funniest one in our own programme.”

Other winners who seemed a little taken aback by their awards included Best Actor winner Ben Whishaw who won for his role as Richard II in BBC2′s The Hollow Crown. Also more than a little stunned by her win was Sheridan Smith who took home the Best Actress award for her starring role in Mrs Biggs.

In the annual battle of the soaps the BBC won out this year with Eastenders beating off competition from Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Shameless.

Possibly the hottest contested contest of the night was for the Sport and Live Event award, although normally quite a popular category the stakes were raised hugely this year with 2012 seeing London host both the Olympics and the Paralympics. In the end it was Channel 4′s coverage of the Paralympic Games that took home the award.

Linking in with the Olympics and sporting theme one of the night’s biggest awards saw Clare Balding win a BAFTA Special Award. The presenter seemed to be on our screens for most of last summer and yet nobody got bored of listening to her commentary on the Olympics and Paralympics.

The other special award of the evening went to former Monty Python star turned travel commentator Michael Palin who took home the evening’s biggest award the BAFTA Fellowship.

With regard to the fashion highs and lows of the evening the evening’s winners included Sienna Miller who won plenty of plaudits for her classy but understated outfit. Another fashion winner was tv presenter Jenni Falconer whose nude gown won her plenty of praise.

Narrowly avoiding a wardrobe malfunction was Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh who had trouble keeping her high slit gown from opening up in the strong wind.

The jury is still out on Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly’s see-through outfit with some commentators worrying that she is moving a little too close to Cher territory with her choice of award outfits these days.

Clik here to view.Strictly’s Tess Daly Becomes New Face Of L’Oreal – the Strictly Come Dancing presenter has been named as the new face of L’Oreal Paris.

The 44-year old is clearly pleased about her new contract with the beauty products company. She not only joins Cheryl Cole as an ambassador for the brand but a number of other famous beauties including Eva Longoria, Lea Michelle, MIlla Jovovich, Claudia Schiffer, Freida Pinto, Jennifer Lopez, Natasha Poly and Beyonce.

One of the things that the tv presenter seems most pleased about is getting the chance to say the famous L’Oreal phrase “because you’re worth it” . Tess said: “The first time I said it I got emotional – they’re iconic words. We’ve grown up listening to these amazing women say these immortal words – I had to pinch myself.”

She revealed that husband Vernon Kay has warned her not to tone down her Northern accent when she utters those words as he wants her to still sound natural. This should be no problem for L’Oreal as some of Cheryl Cole’s ads for them have featured her speaking in a very strong Geordie accent and nobody seems to have worried about her sounding too regional.

Tess won plenty of praise for her look at last weekend’s BAFTAs with many describing her as one of the best dresses at the event. In fact television mag TV Pick was moved to comment on Twitter that Tess “was easily the most beautiful on the red carpet.” Tess was obviously delighted by the compliment as she immediately retweeted the remark herself!

She has already commented that she thinks taking on the new ambassador role for the beauty company will mean that she has to make even more of an effort when she leaves the house in case she looks less than her best.

Apart from being well-known for her stylish dress sense on Strictly Tess has been involved with fashion and beauty before having worked on C4′s fashion show Get Your Kit Off and prior to that working as a professional model.

Carol was appearing at the British Inspiration Awards at the Intercontinental Hotel in London and although she is known for her love of figure hugging outfits that show off her curvy figure the 52-year old showed off a little more than normal courtesy of the see-through side panel of the dress.

Yes, even the former winner of Rear of the Year seems to have succumbed to the fashion trend of showing some sideboob on the red carpet.  It was clear that Carol wasn’t wearing a bra under the monochrome styled dress and we doubt there are many 52-year olds who would do that when they have a line of photographers waiting to snap away at them.

The McCartney dress has been seen a number of times before on the fashion and showbiz pages being previously worn by Gwyneth Paltrow and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker. Here in the UK the best known sighting before last night was in September last year when Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly wore the silhouette outfit for a live recording of the show.

Joan last year aged 79

Joan Collins Is 80-Years Old Today – the actress famous for playing Alexis Carrington Colby in Dynasty is a very surprising 80-years old today.

Joan was born into a show-business family with her father an agent for such stars as Shirley Bassey, Roger Moore and Peter Sellers and her mother Elsa a dance teacher and nightclub hostess. Joan’s sister Jackie is of course a novelist and has sold over 500m copies of her books. In the 1950′s both sisters started out acting in British B movies.

Joan was one of the Rank Starlets, the name given to those who passed through the Rank Organisation’s Company of Youth acting school. Other famous Rank Starlets include Diana Dors, Jill Ireland, Shirley Eaton, Honor Blackman, Kay Kendall and Petula Clark. The Starlets scheme was the Rank Organisation’s version of producing a stream of movie stars in the same way as the major Hollywood studios were doing at the time.

Joan’s first movie role was in the 1951 Rank movie Lady Godiva Rides Again where she played the part of a beauty contest competitor. She was appearing in up to 4 movies a year during the 50′s including such titles as The Virgin Queen, Our Girl Friday, The Opposite Sex and Rally Round The Flag Boys!

Joan carried on appearing in movies right through the 60′s and 70′s including a 1969 musical with her then husband ,singer Anthony Newley. The bizarrely named “Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?” The movie also starred Strictly’s Bruce Forsyth, Playboy centrefold Connie Kreski as well as two of Anthony Newley’s young children. Apart form having one of the strangest titles in movie history (it won a 2006 Chicago Tribune poll to be named the worst movie title ever) the film is also well-known for its X rated release due to its erotic content. Joan Collins later cited the movie as a factor in her divorce from Newley.

Probably the two movies Joan is most famous for are the 1978 and 1979 adaptations of her sister Jackie’s erotic novels The Stud and The Bitch. Despite being 46-years old at the time Joan appeared naked in both movies with one infamous scene showing her nude on a swing in a health club. She played the part of Fontaine Khaled a nymphomaniac nightclub owner who hires Oliver Tobias to keep her amused. The movies were very successful at the time and helped resurrect Joan’s flagging career.

Playboy shoot at 50 yrs old

Her most well-known role came a few years later when she took on the part of Alexis Carrington in 80′s US soap opera Dynasty. Her portrayal of the bitchy wife of tycoon Blake Carrington is thought to be one of the major reasons that Dynasty became the top US television show of the time even edging out the incredibly popular Dallas.

Since Dynasty finished Joan has spent much of her time with her family as well as writing several novels and volumes of autobiography. In addition to this she spends much of her time raising funds for charity with some of her worthy causes including childrens’ charities, breast cancer awareness and neurological research. In 197 Joan was awarded an OBE, in part for her charitable work.

Joan is famous for keeping her good looks throughout her career and even posed nude for Playboy in 1983 at the age of 50-years old earning a rumoured £500k in the process. She always looks immaculate and picks flattering and stylish outfits to wear. She does her own hair and make-up and says that her best beauty tip is to make sure that you always exercise and never get too fat or too thin. She also recommends being married to somebody 32 years younger!

Clik here to view.Helen Flanagan Rumoured For Strictly Come Dancing  - the former Coronation Street star is rumoured to be in the cast of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

According to the Sunday Mirror she is keen to make an appearance on the show although she was said to have turned down a place in last year’s cast due to other commitments. Helen said “‘I would like to learn a new skill, so Strictly Come Dancing would be good – but I can’t dance at all.’

Since leaving her role as Rosie Webster in Coronation Street the 22-year old actress has been a fairly permanent feature in the media. She earned plenty of new fans when she appeared in a red bikini showing off her hot bikini body in the I’m A Celebrity waterfall. She was named as the sexiest British female by FHM magazine earlier this year.

At the same time as giving the thumbs up to Strictly Helen ruled out an appearance on rival ITV show Dancing On Ice saying that it was “too terrifying.” Despite Helen not having any prior dancing experience she will be more than prepared for the skimpy latin outfits that are a feature of the show as she has a liking for revealing outfits.

As well as a rumoured Strictly appearance Helen is also said to be involved in her own fly on the wall reality show for ITV2. She is thought to be receiving a fee of around £500k for the show which is likely to be along the lines of Katie Price’s various reality shows such as What Katie Did Next which also aired on ITV2.

This year’s Strictly Come Dancing series has already got some other potential contestants pencilled in including the former Slade singer turned dj Noddy Holder, retired footballer Michael Owen and singer Joe McElderry.

Another name being mentioned in connection with the show is a current Coronation Street star Natalie Gumede who plays Kirsty Soames in the soap.

Strictly co-host Sir Bruce Forsyth has recently confirmed that he will be taking part in this year’s series of the show despite rumours that last year was going to be his last. However he has asked for more breaks in his schedule with a strong likelihood that the popular Claudia Winkleman will take his place on the show co-hosting with Tess Daly when Bruce is on a break. This happened for a couple of shows last series and Claudia was well received in her temporary role.

We can expect the rumour mill to start working even more as we get nearer to the 2013 series of Strictly’s launch date and we forecast you are likely to hear the names of Miranda Hart and Royal sister-in-law Pippa Middleton both being mentioned in connection with the show.

Clik here to view.Strictly’s Vincent and Flavia Win Rear of the Year Awards – Flavia Cacace finally triumphed in the last series of Strictly Come Dancing when she was partnered with Olympic gymnast Louis Smith and has now continued her winning form by picking up the title of 2013 Rear of the Year.

It was a clean sweep for the Strictly team as the men’s award was picked up by her professional dance partner and former boyfriend, Vincent Simone.

Flavia is known for her killer abs and now has another string to her body beautiful bow. She was a little surprised by her new title saying that all her fellow Strictly professional friends would be laughing about the awards for her and Vincent.

It seems as though the route to a killer bottom may well be a spot of dancing as a number of previous Strictly celebrity competitors have won the award as well as Flavia and Vincent’s fellow professional Anton Du Beke who, took the male award in 2011 the year that Carol Vorderman won the female title. The list of Strictly celebrities who are also former Rear of the Year winners includes Ricky Whittle (Strictly Series 7, Rear of the Year 2010), Rachel Stevens (Strictly Series 6, Rear of the Year 2009), Claire Sweeney (Strictly Series 1, Rear of the Year 2001), Denise van Outen (Strictly Series 10, Rear of the Year 1999), Carol Smillie (Strictly Series 4, Rear of the Year 1998) and Felicity Kendal (Strictly Series 8, Rear of the Year 1981).

Despite Flavia being quite modest about winning the Rear of the Year award the same cannot be said about Vincent’s reaction to winning the title. He said of his win: ’It’s about time. I haven’t seen any other men with amazing rears like me, so I don’t have much competition. My bum is eternal, it will last forever.’

Although the pair had very differing comments to make about their win they were united in their joint belief that it is all their dancing that has given them both such pert award-winning rears.

Clik here to view.Flavia and Vincent To Leave Strictly Come Dancing – it has been conformed that Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone are both leaving Strictly Come Dancing as well as 2 other Strictly professionals.

The news was first picked up in the Daily Mirror which reported a source as saying that Flavia, Vincent and Erin Boag were all to leave the hit BBC show. This was later confirmed by the BBC and it was also announced that as well as the original 3 professionals reported by the Mirror Aliona Vilani, the Strictly professional champion from 2011, would also be leaving the show.

Flavia, Vincent and Erin have all stated that although they will no longer be a part of the main show they all hope to be involved with the show in the future and Flavia and Vincent have both confirmed that they will be a part of this year’s Strictly Christmas Special.

The news has come as a complete surprise to all Strictly fans and there was no hint of a departure for Vincent and Flavia when they talked about their roles on the show after winning their titles a few days ago as this year’s male and female Rear of the Year.

Aliona has not given any reason for her departure from the show but Flavia, Vincent and Erin are all involved with successful but demanding live shows of their own when they are not working on Strictly so they may feel that with the huge time demands that Strictly makes it is just right for a change for them all. In addition to all this there is now an increasing amount of time taken up with the Strictly arena tour after each series finishes.

All 4 departing pros are among the most successful dancers on Strictly with both Aliona and Flavia being past Strictly professional champions and Erin and Vincent have also made it to the final stages of the competition although they have both narrowly missed out on lifting the famous Strictly glitterball trophy.

Flavia and Vincent no doubt want to have a little free time for their private lives as Vincent looks forward to some time at home with a second child arriving and Flavia planning a wedding to new fiance (and former Strictly competitor) Jimi Mistry.

Although no mention has been made by any of the departing professionals that money is behind their decisions to leave it might be worth remembering that the dance pros received a relatively modest £30,500 each for their parts in the last series of Strictly compared to the far better paid Strictly judges who each took home more than 3 times this amount.

The BBC has announced that the new professional dancers for the 2013 series of Strictly are to be 32-year old Lithuanian Iveta Lukosiute, 26-year old Emma Slater, Janette Manrara from US show So You Think You Can Dance and new male professional, Slovenian dancer Aljaz Skorjanec from tv show Burn The Floor.

We will all get a chance to see the new dancers as well as the latest 2013 crop of Strictly celebrities when the series returns in the Autumn.

Clik here to view.Gabby Logan Launches Body Confidence Swimwear – the 40-year old is best known these days as the co-host of celebrity diving show Splash! and has now cemented her links with the swimming pool by helping to launch a new swimwear range for women.

The Speedo Sculpture range of swimwear promises to help women feel confident whether they are in or out of the water.

The new swimwear range had different styles available to cover the 4 basic female body types of hourglass, pear-shaped, inverted triangle and athletic. The range uses special fabrics as well as special design and colouring to help enhance a woman’s body and give everyone the confidence to put on a swimsuit.

Gabby Logan showed that despite being 40 she has no worries about posing for the camera in a swimsuit. This is just as well as she may well end up being seen more often like this on UK tv screens as it has recently been confirmed that Splash! will be returning for a second series next year.

Splash! was something of a surprise ratings success this year despite starting off the series with something of a critical mauling. It seemed to appeal to viewers through a mixture of fear, courage and seeing a number of different celebrities in swimwear.

As well as appearing in several swimwear photos Gabby also took to the streets of London with a group of women to help promote the new body confidence swimwear range. 

Gabby has been talking about who her dream contestants on Splash! would be and says that she would love to see husband and wife team David and Victoria Beckham appear on the show. She says that part of the reason for this is how much she and husband Kenny Logan enjoyed being on Strictly Come Dancing together. 

Gabby was controversially voted off the 2007 Strictly competition in one of the early rounds prompting host Bruce Forsyth to remind the show’s viewers that the programme was a dance contest. The result was something of a shock as up until that point Gabby and her professional partner James Jordan were favourites with the bookies to lift the glitterball trophy.

Gabby’s husband Kenny, who was partnered with Ola Jordan wife of Gabby’s professional partner, lasted 6 more weeks than her despite almost nobody believing that he was a better dancer than her. The 2007 series of Strictly was eventually won by Alesha Dixon who went on to briefly become a judge on the show before moving on to be one of the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel.

Clik here to view.Celebrities At Wimbledon Tennis Championships – today saw another crop of celebrities take to the seats around the Centre Court at Wimbledon but it seems there was a strong dancing theme today!

Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly was a visitor to the SW19 courts today together with her husband, fellow tv presenter Vernon Kay.

Tess looked ready to take her place on court as she wore a little all-white 2-piece outfit. She completed the Wimbledon white look with a matching white bag and white sandals with a silver trim and also carried a white jacket with her in case of any typically British weather coming along during the day’s play.

Continuing the Strictly theme one of the show’s judging panel, Darcey Bussell, was also sitting amongst the Centre Court crowd today. Darcey was wearing a bright lime, purple and navy dress which she matched with a navy cardigan.

Adding still further to the dancing theme Darcey was sitting with Wimbledon regular Katherine Jenkins. The singer did of course appear on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, where she very nearly took the title.

Darcey and Katherine have been pals for a while and appeared together in 2007 in their show Viva La Diva, which toured the UK.

Other celebs spotted around the Centre Court today included veteran radio and tv presenter Sir Terry Wogan, who was there with his wife, actress Kim Cattrall, film producer Richard Curtis and singer Grace Jones. It was Jones who unsurprisingly took the day’s wackiest fashion award as she was seen a very strange hooded jacket that appeared to be made of some sort of artificial fur.

Spotted yesterday and last week were England cricket captain Alastair Cook, double Olympic gold winner Mo Farah, Sir Chris Hoy, Stephen Fry, Holly Willoughby, Eddie Redmayne and Strictly Come Dancing’s main man Sir Bruce Forsyth.

The royal connection was also in evidence with the Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa Middleton in attendance as well as her brother James and her mother Carole.

The Ladies singles final is due to take place this Saturday with the Mens singles final following on the Sunday.
